We provide armed and unarmed security officers to protect commercial businesses and assets. We also perform federal contract security and emergency response work. Our electronics division installs and maintains burglar alarms, fire alarms, and CCTV systems. We also monitor commercial and residential alarm systems. Job Skills / Requirements The pay is $23.00 per hour for Armed sites (Class G license required) and $20 per hour for unarmed sites (Florida class D license required). Working with a heart of service to protect others is our purpose and if you want to be part of that, join our team today IMMEDIATE HIRING IPSC is hiring both Armed and Unarmed Licensed Security Guards to provide emergency disaster response security services to the areas affected by Hurricane Milton. Full-time and part-time work is available on a storm response basis and will be temporary. Permanent work may be available after the Emergency response work ends, inquire if interested. Physical and Mental Job Requirements: Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency. A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances. A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required. A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.) A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit. A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required. A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency. A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed. Reasonable accommodations to the above will be considered and offered, when possible.
