M.A.P.L.E. Learning & Fun, Jr., or simply Maple Leaf, Jr., is a one-of-a-kind, children’s indoor playground and arts appreciation center. Our play-, action- and lecture-based teaching is focused on Music (pre-Rock & Roll genres), Art, Poetry and Languages…and, always, Entertainment (M.A.P.L.E.).
Maple Leaf, Jr. was created to inspire love of The Arts in children ages 4 months to 8 years old with the hope that they will enjoy them for a lifetime and pass the love on to future generations. Ideal candidates should have experience as a Preschool or Elementary School Teacher, Day Care Professional, Paraeducator and/or a minimum of 1 year of experience working directly with children with impeccable working and relationship record.

Looking for full time (30+ hours) team leads/members to join us in time for our GRAND OPENING on October 28th, 2024

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Effective Learning Center management skills
Implements assigned practices for instruction
Team player
Excellent communicator
Fluent in English and minimally passive level in Spanish, Italian, French or German
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working with children under 10 years old
Must have excellent customer service/phone/written/in person skills
Must have good typing skills
Proficient in usage of social media apps including Instagram and Facebook
Certificate in first aid and infant CPR OR willingness to get /obtain in advance of starting this position, if hired.
Physical requirements include walking, standing, lifting, climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling and reaching
Technology literate or fast learner to learn the necessary technology that supports the curriculum and learning center’s management systems.
Maintains a positive attitude at all times
EDUCATION LEVEL
Some college or a college degree preferred.
COMPENSATION
$15-$20/hr
$50/mo phone allowance (smart phone and active talk, text, data plan required)
Additional paid supplemental wages may be offered (e.g., bonuses)
