• You'll become a trusted advisor-not just a paper pusher. Work directly with innovative founders, investors, and C-level leaders. You'll help shape brands from day one and stay with them through every stage of their journey.
• You'll build a deep and broad skill set. Handle everything from formation to financings, commercial contracts to M&A. No siloed workstreams here-this is full-stack legal experience.
• You'll fast-track your professional growth. Get client-facing responsibilities earlier. Lead deals. If you're entrepreneurial, your ceiling is high and your timeline is accelerated.
• You'll work with clients you can be proud of. These clients are the next household names-mission-driven, innovative, and often backed by leading venture funds and strategics. You'll see your work on store shelves, in the news, and at the center of major market moves.

What You'll Do:

• Advise consumer product startups on entity formation, governance, and strategic structuring

• Negotiate and close venture financings (Seed, Series A and beyond)

• Draft commercial agreements across manufacturing, distribution, co-packing, IP licensing, etc.

• Act as outside GC to dynamic, fast-growing brands

• Support M&A activity and long-term exit planning

• Build relationships with investors, co-counsel, and strategic partners in the ecosystem

What We're Looking For:

• JD from an accredited law school; licensed in NY

• 4+ years of relevant corporate experience, ideally including VC or startup-facing work

• Passion for consumer brands and an entrepreneurial mindset

• Comfortable managing deals, owning client relationships, and wearing multiple hats

• Strong drafting skills and a practical, business-savvy approach to advising clients
