About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel to join its executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading both strategic and tactical legal initiatives, providing senior management with effective legal advice, and managing the legal function, including overseeing the work of outside counsel. This key leadership role also involves serving as a legal advisor on major business transactions, handling litigation, and advising on corporate governance matters. The Chief Compliance Officer will be a pivotal figure in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures, and programs, and will work closely with the CEO and Board on a range of legal and compliance issues. Applicants for the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel position at the company should have a strong background in legal, compliance, and corporate secretary duties. The role requires the ability to manage the compliance and trade execution function, develop and enhance the company's compliance framework, and oversee compliance activities.
