About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the development, implementation, and management of its information security program. The CISO will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust security program, with a focus on strengthening the culture of security through effective communication, governance, collaboration, technology, and vendor partnerships. Key responsibilities include conducting regular risk assessments, developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, leading incident response efforts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader, capable of effectively communicating and developing trusting relationships at all levels of the organization. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 7 years of experience in information security, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and information security frameworks, as well as proven experience in risk management, incident response, and security program development. Leadership skills such as the ability to earn respect and trust, strong collaboration, and excellent communication are essential. The CISO will be expected to be a visionary leader, with a passion for excellence, high emotional intelligence, and a core commitment to the mission of serving others.
