Job Description
The Pro Football Retired Players Association (PFRPA) is seeking a communications professional to support external communications. The Communications Specialist will work closely with the Communications Director to execute a sound communications plan, including media relations, content development, social media outreach and overall stakeholder engagement. In this role, the specialist will serve as a resource to the organization, executing external communications initiatives; driving brand awareness; securing quality media results; and performing day-to-day project management. This full-time employee must be strategic, dependable, highly motivated and possess a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be able to exercise sound judgment and add value, while extending the organization’s goals and missions.

Through the Greater Good Fund, PFRPA's 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, we develop meaningful health, welfare and educational programs. To date, more than 10,200 retired players and more than 3,000 retired players' spouses have enrolled in PFRPA insurance benefits. The Football Greats Alliance, PFRPA's licensing agency, develops partnerships to drive meaningful revenue for retired NFL players and provides revenue to support the Greater Good Fund.
