Job Summary

As a Creative Striping Technician with Striping USA, you will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support construction, maintenance, and other labor-intensive activities. This role involves physical work, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, as well as assisting skilled workers in various trades. The Striping Technician may be working odd hours. A week of training will be provided; no experience is needed. Great starting pay! Looking for a teachable, disciplined, self-starter who pays close attention to detail. No CDL is required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Handling: 

Load and unload materials and equipment. 

Move materials to and from work areas as directed. 

Ensure that materials are stored properly to prevent damage. 

2. Site Preparation: 

Assist in preparing work sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and equipment. 

Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding and other temporary structures. 

3. Support Duties: 

Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by providing tools and materials. 

Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers to complete tasks efficiently. 

4. Equipment Operation: 

Operate basic tools and machinery, such as hand tools, power tools, and small equipment, as needed. 

Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. 

5. Safety Compliance: 

Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. 

Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately. 

6. Site Clean-Up: 

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site. 

Dispose of waste materials and debris in accordance with company policies.

7. General Assistance: 

Perform various other tasks as required by the project or supervisor, including digging, mixing materials, and assisting with installations.

Working Conditions 

The role involves working in outdoor environments, which may include exposure to various weather conditions. 

The job may require standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and manual labor.

Hours may vary depending on project requirements, with potential for overtime. 

Requirements

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

Experience: Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is advantageous but not required. 

Skills: Ability to follow instructions, operate basic tools, and work effectively in a team environment. 

Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks. 

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of basic safety procedures and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines.
