We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional environment, and we are looking for a dedicated Insurance Verification Specialist who also has Dental Assisting experience to join our team. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office Schedule and confirm patient appointments Manage patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility Communicate with insurance companies to resolve coverage issues Update patient records with accurate insurance information Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries Utilize Dentrix office software for record-keeping and verification tasks Assist the dentist during procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Take dental X-rays Coronal Polish Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: Previous experience in insurance verification or a similar role preferred Proficiency with Dentrix office software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Friendly and professional demeanor Cross-trained dental assistant experience is plus.
