Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage HSSE plans, procedures, and policies to ensure the highest level of safety at all times.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulations.
3. Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Provide guidance and support to operational teams, ensuring all activities are conducted in line with HSSE regulations.
5. Deliver HSSE training and awareness programs to enhance the culture of safety within the organization.
6. Monitor and analyze HSSE performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
7. Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure all necessary reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
8. Stay abreast of new legislation and best practices within the energy sector, ensuring the organization remains compliant and at the forefront of HSSE management.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a HSSE management role within the oil, energy, or petroleum industry.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
3. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent certification is preferred.
4. Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
5. Extensive knowledge of HSSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
6. Excellent auditing and inspection skills, with a keen eye for identifying potential risks and non-compliance issues.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive a culture of safety.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
10. Experience in refining, petrochemical, or chemical facility with turnaround and/or capital project safety leadership
