Job Description Job Summary: Responsible for shampooing carpets, stripping and waxing floors and pressure washing restrooms. Responsible for doing heavy or deep cleaning and high cleaning on ladders scaffolds and lifts. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities include thefollowing; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. To perform this jobsuccessfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. Must be able to use of ladder/scissor lift to high dust casino/venues. Clean venues including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, clean upholstery and windows as needed. Cleans all casino areas, including sweeping and picking up trash, vacuuming carpets, wiping surfaces and retrieving glass items and cleaning ash trays. Cleans restrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, sweeping and mopping floors, deep cleaning of slot machines and stools and wiping surfaces. Pressure washing restrooms that requires operating equipment. Empty trash cans and take trash to the designated area. May be required to clean up potential Blood Borne Pathogens. Deep clean trashcan inserts. Must accurately follow all safety procedures, guidelines, or precautions when cleaning up potential Blood Borne Pathogens. Performs other reasonable business-related duties as assigned. Alerts the appropriate team members when there are technical problems with games/systems. Alerts managments when items are not working or operational. Qualifications: Six months previous utility porter experience required. Must be able to do cleaning up to 50 feethigh. Must have knowledge of carpetextraction, stripping and waxing floors, scaffolding, lifts, and ladders. Heavy lifting required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED) six monthsrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. WorkingConditions: Must be able to maneuver in casino areas, upand down stairs and reach above shoulder level. Able to push, pull, and carry up to 100 pounds. Able to tolerate areas containing secondarysmoke. Must be able to work intemperatures in excess of 115 degrees and in cold temperatures as low as 40degrees. Respond to visual and auralcurs. Able to use and operate vacuumcleaners, floor cleaning equipment, dustpans and brooms. Must be able to work around crowdedareas. Able to read labels on chemicalbottles. Able to stoop, bend, reach andpull around casino and restroom areas. Able to use finger movement and rotation wrist motion when cleaning andwiping surface areas. Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals withoutdeveloping and allergic reaction. OtherSkills: Must be able to get along well with co-workersand work any day of the week and any shift. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
