We are looking for an Oral Surgery Assistant to be part of a team that values collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional patient care. Position Overview
As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our surgical procedures run smoothly while delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. You’ll work closely with our doctor, patients, and team to maintain a positive, efficient, and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Surgical Assistance : Assist the doctor during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
• Instrument Preparation : Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Patient Care : Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and instructions to patients.
• Team Collaboration : Foster a collaborative, respectful, and supportive work environment by cooperating effectively with coworkers and other healthcare professionals.
• Confidentiality & Professionalism : Maintain patient confidentiality (adhering to HIPAA) and exhibit professionalism in all interactions with patients, coworkers, and referral sources.
• Administrative Tasks : Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and assist with administrative needs.
• Clinic Efficiency : Assist in managing patient flow and maintaining clinic efficiency.
• Empathy & Respect : Ensure a respectful and empathetic approach to patient care, addressing concerns and providing reassurance.

Qualifications

• Experience : Previous experience in oral surgery assisting is required.
• Certifications :
  • Maintain Anesthesia Certification (every 5 years).
  • Maintain active BLS certification (every 2 years).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive, mature, and solutions-oriented mindset.

Position Details

• Full-Time : 30-40 hours per week.
