Job Details Are you a seasoned forensic accountant or financial auditor with a knack for investigative analysis and a passion for uncovering financial discrepancies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Forensic Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
1. Conducting detailed financial investigations to uncover discrepancies, fraud, and other financial irregularities.
2. Providing risk assessment and mitigation strategies to protect the organization from potential financial threats.
3. Preparation of financial affidavits.
4. Offering invaluable support in family divorce cases by providing clear, concise, and accurate financial analysis that can include income analysis, analysis of living expenses, child support and alimony calculations, etc
5. Collaborating with legal teams to provide expert testimony and support during legal proceedings.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in forensic accounting or a financial auditing role.
2. Properly interpret financial information. Be able to obtain and evaluate all relevant financial information, process it and achieve the engagement objective.
3. Active CPA license (preferred but not required)
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Experienced in Quickbooks and Quicken.
8. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
