Description
Position Summary: The Front End Web Developer will be responsible for the design and development of the overall look and feel of member facing web applications and content presented within the organization's online presence. This includes but is not limited to: AD's Member Portal, AD's public site, eCommerce Applications, new application launches and merger acquired systems. In addition the Front End Web Developer will work with business and technology teams to provide expertise in design and usability requirements for new functionality being developed for web-based applications. The Front End Web Developer will also participate in the quality review of work, and manage the content approval process through the organization. This role will work across multiple departments so strong project management and communication skills are needed. Tasks require a strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work in a quick paced, multi-faceted and collaborative environment.
Primary Responsibilities: - Create, develop and maintain content for the organization's web presence including support of AD programs by developing and maintaining program specific pages
- Execute and coordinate content web requests across departments to ensure the timely delivery of value-add updates for members and suppliers, oversee the request queue, and the review and approval process throughout the organization
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and develop the look and feel of assigned web applications to ensure brand and usability standards
- Design and develop wireframes, mockups and prototypes for new functionality within assigned web applications
- Perform quality assurance testing for website and other projects

Requirements
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Graphical Design, Communication and Multimedia, or a closely related field of study
- 1-2 years of experience designing and developing front end look and feel of websites and or web-based applications
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS (and associated Libraries), JavaScript, jQuery
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with popular content management systems and web platforms such (WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
- Experience working with customers/end users to define requirements for web based applications
Additional Comments: - Travel: Occasional local travel with the possibility of infrequent air travel
- Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; some overtime may be required
- Position is based in Wayne, PA where we have a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office (Tuesdays-Thursdays in office & Mondays and Fridays remote)
