Intelligence Copy Editor, Mid
Key Role:

Review and edit online and copy content, checking for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Verify the validity of information and facts in submitted content and ensure writing satisfies house style. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with reviewing written products for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and adherence to style guides
  • Experience with performing copyedit reviews of intelligence products
  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) agency and office-style guides
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Associate's degree and 6+ years of experience with copy editing, Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with copy editing, or Master's degree and 2+ years of experience with copy editing

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
