Position Title: MANAGING DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Scope and Position Objective

The Managing Director of Business Development will be the primary business development resource for

the agency’s commercial sales consulting efforts and is accountable for:

  • Spearheading strategy development for sales growth opportunities in the context of commercial revenue, leveraging the tools and resources of the agency
  • Manage internal sales team to ensure efficiency and over-delivery on revenue goals
  • Generate and qualify leads, client referrals and maintain a customer database / pipeline
  • Prepare sales action plans, schedules, and lead lists\
  • Maintain sales activity records, reports and status updates
  • Make sales outreach to new and existing clients
  • Develop and make presentations of services to current and prospective clients
  • Actively seek opportunities locally, regionally and nationally, where applicable, to expand the agency’s reach, including agency consulting for PSP

Principal Responsibilities

The Managing Director of Business Development’s main role is to consistently grow PSP’s sales

consulting business. The person in this role must be capable of effectively leading our team across a

variety of commercial sales consulting clients. The ability to identify, manage and execute upon our sales

property portfolio, while strategically planning ahead, will be paramount.

Position Duties and Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement goals and process to ensure over-delivery on budget for each sales property
  • Develop, manage and optimize our internal team
  • Grow commercial sales consulting revenue by 10%+ YoY

Background and Experience

  • 4-year college degree
  • 6+ years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales and customer relations
  • Experience in developing sales proposals and delivering presentations
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Experience or ability to work in a commissioned sales environment
