What You’ll Do
· Engage with clients to understand their financial dreams and aspirations. Provide them with tailored mortgage solutions that fit their unique needs.
· Guide clients through the mortgage application maze, ensuring every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed. Collect and verify essential financial documents like a pro.
· Team up with underwriters and processors to make the loan approval process swift and smooth. Keep clients updated every step of the way and celebrate every milestone.
· Build and maintain relationships with clients and become their go-to person for all questions and concerns. Deliver exceptional service that leaves clients feeling confident and excited about their journey.
· Perform credit checks and ensure accuracy through income verification.
· Collaborate with clients to negotiate loan terms and conditions that meet their needs.
· Stay ahead of mortgage regulations and ensure all applications meet federal, state, and company standards.
· Stay sharp on market trends, interest rates, and competitor products. Use your insights to offer clients the best and most competitive mortgage solutions.
· Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications in compliance with company policies.
What You Bring to The Table
· In-depth understanding of mortgage products, loan origination, and underwriting processes preferred.
· Knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-energy team environment.
· Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in mortgage software, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) is a must.
· Knowledge of FNMA guidelines and Fair Housing regulations is highly desirable.
· Exceptional analytical skills to conduct thorough credit analysis and evaluate risk effectively.
