Key Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Follow team coding standards to produce clean, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.
- Create and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, batch file processing, and MuleSoft.
- Deploy code through the development pipeline using Gearset Continuous Integration with Bitbucket and Git, ensuring smooth CI/CD operations.
- Perform declarative updates to Salesforce metadata (such as fields, objects, custom metadata) and manage related permissions for development projects.
- Enhance Lightning Web Component (LWC) UIs using web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Participate in feature review sessions, gathering feedback from business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with the help desk team to resolve issues, troubleshoot bugs, and provide ongoing support.
- Stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and best practices, providing guidance to the development team.

Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience coding with any modern programming language or tech stack (e.g., Salesforce, .NET, Java, PHP, Python, etc.).
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, including expertise in Apex, SOQL, LWC, Visualforce, and Aura (Note: declarative programming tools like Flows and Process Builder are not considered).
- Experience with asynchronous Apex (Batch, Scheduled, Queueable, Platform Events).
- Proficiency in Apex Triggers, transaction management, and advanced recursion techniques.
- Strong background in writing custom API integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Experience with Apex unit tests, mocking, and debugging asynchronous transactions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset) and Git fundamentals (branching strategies, merge conflict resolution).
- Ability to write org-agnostic code that applies to any Salesforce instance.
- Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end solutions for complex challenges.
- Conceptual:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to comprehend and work with complex codebases, leveraging existing code when implementing new features or modifying functionality.
- Deep understanding of OOP concepts like abstraction, inheritance, and polymorphism, with practical experience applying them.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and managing space/time complexity.
- Familiarity with advanced software engineering principles such as Separation of Concerns, Design Patterns, and Dependency Injection.
- In-depth understanding of platform limitations and techniques for mitigation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data models, security, and sharing models.
- Strong grasp of database design and relationship management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Exposure to Apex frameworks, especially the FFLIB Apex Enterprise Framework.
- Experience with Salesforce clouds such as Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.
- Ability to design solutions independently within loosely defined technical specifications.
- Experience in project management, including translating business requirements into user stories and documentation.

- Base Salary: $155,000-$175,000
