We are currently seeking a Multifamily Asset Manager to join our Washington, DC team. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing real estate private equity firm.

YOUR IMPACT:

As a Real Estate Asset Manager, you will lead our operational, strategic, and investment decisions by:

  • Being in direct control of a large portfolio of multifamily assets in multiple markets
  • Overseeing a team of analysts and construction personnel to review and analyze financial statements, rent rolls, and operating/capital budgets to make strategic decisions
  • Creating financial analyses, including operating budgets, cash flow projections, and investment return calculations to lead annual business plan discussions
  • Traveling to portfolio assets to perform site inspections, evaluate performance, and make changes as needed (travel will be required)
  • Engaging in the Investment Committee process to help make investment and disposition decisions
  • Coordinating/managing due diligence review and closing process
  • Assisting with arranging and closing debt financing; and the disposition of assets
  • Presenting property performance to the entire firm quarterly
  • Working closely with multiple property management teams to implement and manage FCPs business plans

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree with excellent academic credentials, with preference for majors in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or Property Management. MBA/Masters Degree a plus
  • 3 to 9 years relevant experience (including internships) working in real estate asset management
  • Ability to lead a team of direct reports to accomplish quantitative goals
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Python, VBA, and SQL a plus
  • Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Great organizational skills and a desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
