Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.
This is a full time, 4 days- 10 hour shift with a start time of 06:30am, with flexibility to cover leadership and a rotating administrative call responsibilities on the weekend.

\nJoin our Scripps Green Hospital Operating Room team where you will be amongst a team dedicated to creating an environment that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient.
\nAs a Supervisor of the 12 suite Operating Room you will work with the OR team to ensure the nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety. Under the general direction of the Patient Care Manager, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit, including managing daily staffing plans. Ensures the safe transition of patients thru the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care. Scripps Green manages 12 surgical specialties therefore it is important that you will have a knowledge of multiple service lines including ortho, neuro, robotics, vascular, plastics and urology.

\nIn order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
\nTwo years OR RN experience,
\nOne year in a leadership role.
\nExcellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
\nAbility to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care. Graduate of an accredited program.
\nCurrent American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider and all competencies/certifications required of the charge RN on the unit.
\nPreferred Qualifications:
\n5 years OR experience
\n2 years leadership experience
\nBSN and/or certification in area of specialty if applicable.
