Firsthand is headquartered in NYC. Most team members come to the office to work together three days a week. The Role Firsthand is looking to hire a seasoned Sales Director who can educate, evangelize, and drive adoption of our AI agent advertising platform. In this foundational role, you will evangelize the transformative potential of agentic advertising to forward-thinking brands and agencies actively seeking innovative marketing solutions. The ideal candidate will be located in the New York metropolitan area. As an authority in emerging technologies and consultative selling, you will identify and cultivate relationships with AI innovators, data-driven marketers, and critical decision-makers. Through strategic networking and thought leadership, you will increase Firsthand's visibility within the industry, positioning the company as the premier partner for brands seeking to unlock the power of AI-driven consumer engagement. You will navigate complex organizations, gaining audiences with key stakeholders to educate them on the game-changing capabilities of agentic advertising. This senior seller will be responsible for supporting new and existing business, creating an actionable plan of execution for account prioritization, and taking Firsthand's AI agent platform and solutions to market. The best candidates bring relationships with them to the table, thrive in fast-paced environments, possess a scrappy, data-oriented mindset, and excel at nurturing relationships with senior decision-makers. Key Responsibilities: Establish and nurture relationships with innovative brands and agencies primed for AI adoption Assess inbound strategic partnership opportunities and drive proactive business development Develop subject matter expertise in Firsthand's AI agent technology and its applications Evangelize agentic advertising through networking, events, and thought leadership activities Forecast sales pipelines and navigate complex sales cycles with a consultative approach Collaborate with leadership on strategic accounts, industry trends, and emerging opportunities Maintain meticulous data hygiene and CRM utilization in line with company standards Qualifications: 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a track record of driving adoption of innovative technologies Proven ability to sell consultatively and influence decision-makers across marketing and technology Expertise in marketing across a variety of strategies - including acquisition, retention, cross-sell/upsell Outstanding communication skills and executive presence to educate and inspire client audiences Self-motivated team player who consistently exceeds goals and elevates performance standards Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, seamlessly prioritizing competing demands Passion for helping brands and agencies learn about and adopt exciting new technologies How to Apply If you are ready to embark on an exhilarating journey at the forefront of AI, seize this incredible opportunity and apply here.
