Job Details Award winning mid-size firm is a Mechanical HVAC Engineer (PE) in the greater Orlando location.
Position is responsible for project management, budget oversight as well as project design responsibilities, relating to commercial and healthcare building HVAC design and construction, including HVAC cooling/heating load calculations, sizing of ductwork/piping, HVAC unit sizing and equipment selection, including DX and chilled water equipment, pumps, and cooling towers.
Requirements:
BSME with and active FL PE, plus 7+ years' experience relevant to commercial and healthcare building design projects. All candidates will be expected to perform well in a team environment and provide effective written and verbal communication to department staff and other team members, and possess a good working knowledge of building modeling computer software IESVE, Revit and AutoCAD. Prior staff/department project management is preferred.
