Job Duties and Qualifications

Job Duties:

• Under broad direction, responsible for specific segments of the mine operation and mine design.
• Performs work which involves mine engineering or geologic field work.
• Work requires general knowledge of local precedents.
• Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing PPE.
• Performs other duties and activities as directed.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering/Geology is required.
• Four years of experience in mining activities.
• Required to be proficient in a mining specific software Carlson or Vulcan, able to create mine designs and calculate ore reserves.
• Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions and travel when necessary.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license. 
• Willingness to travel both domestic and international.
