Job Description:

1. Head Coach of the South Adams High School Boys and Girls Track Team.

Job Requirements :

1. Perform the duties of a head varsity track coach including but not limited to:
1. Perform all administrative duties assigned by the administration.
2. Maintain knowledge of modern teaching and coaching techniques and follow all state and national association rules.
3. Organize and implement the yearly, monthly, and daily practice plans including all in-season and off-season goals and expectations.
4. Collaborate with the athletic department with the maintenance and improvement of all track facilities.
5. Assist in ordering, maintaining, and inventorying all track equipment.
6. Support, oversee, and maintain a “hands-on” relationship with the middle school track program.
7. Conduct yearly evaluations of all aspects of the track program.
8. Budget and maintain financial spending for the South Adams track program.
9. Build a positive and successful relationship with the media, alumni, parents, boosters, and South Adams Community.

Job Qualifications :

1. Successful varsity track coaching experience. Head varsity track experience preferred, but not required.
2. Demonstrate ability to successfully lead and work with administration, student athletes, coaching staff, middle school, and community.
