About the Role

The Company is seeking a President to lead its association management client organization, the Railway Supply Institute (RSI). The successful candidate will be the chief staff executive, responsible for strategic leadership, program and services planning, member services, industry advocacy, and financial management. This role requires a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a leadership or management position, with a strong preference for those with a background in a volunteer-led organization or association management. The President will work closely with the Board of Directors, serve as the external face of the industry, and be accountable for the overall success of the organization in achieving its mission. Key responsibilities for the President include serving as the chief advocate for the industry, managing government relations and advocacy programs, and overseeing the development and execution of operational plans that align with the organization's goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in expanding membership, and financial management, and be recognized as a collaborator with the ability to build and enhance relationships. They should be an inspirational leader, capable of managing a diverse team, and have the skills to cultivate engagement with member organizations, sponsor partners, and volunteers. The role demands a business-minded individual with a passion for the organization's mission, and the ability to shape and implement an ambitious strategic plan.
